I decided to peice together an intake system for my truck since there isnt any avaible.Total cost came to about $85.I bought a unversal spectre tube and a 3' cone filter.I had to cut the tube about3" and cut the stock hose to make it work.I think it was worth the time(30 min) and money.Engine now has a deeper, throaty sound.

has hose connections on the Tube for the Vaccum Lines from the Air Box? wont pass smog without them...
mind posting a link to where u got them, and/or part numbers.... this is somthing ive been wanting to do with my 2.9L .... im affraid the low air duct of the stock will gag first time i get into real water...
u should hear what that intake sounds like at 85mph w/o a hose or filter at all.... sounds good...

Yes it has holes for everything.I bought the intake tube from autozone, and the filter from pep boys. They are both made by SPECTRE.

Besides it would take about 5 min max to swap it with stock for a smog test.A non-issue in my opinion.
