I have found a Jeep Grand Wagoneer. 86 with 3 inch lift and 33"s 360cid, auto, ac, and fully loaded with Alpine stero system. Part time 4WD. $1500.00. Needs a power valve in the holley carb. Any thoughts from any of YALL.

I know:worthlessw-opics: but I didn't have a camera with me when I saw it.

My intrest came from working on them and TRUCKS! I loved the build up Stacy did on the show. The price is right and it is a reasonably capable rig. i like having D44"s already there. Enjoyed the article by the way Cam.

That Brings up a good queston.
What type of wheeling you into? :6:
Wheelbase does play a factor into different terrains..

i loved my 80 cherokee...(same as the wagoneer but two door)... there are not as many parts available for them as say a bronco or a blazer... but custom spring jobs are easy on something that as solid axles already in place... even with a four inch lift you can only put on 32 inch tires ad i still had rubbing issues.... to eliminate this you have to find an 83 back wide trac jeep cherokee that has bigger fender pockets than the standard cherokee and all wagoneers...

like i said i loved it... but the top didn't come off so i got a bronco... wish i had been able to keep it too

I love to trail ride and do a little rock crawling. I used to wheel a 96 F150 longbed standard cab and had no problems. I don't think the Jeep is quite as long but I am not sure.

wagoneers wheelbase is 109" whether 2 door or four door but their body length is 186" but it is all in the rear it seems like...makes for a large overhang... and bad departure angle... a broncos is 103" for reference and 180"
