Tony the fab guy at work did it. most of the guys in JS are running 2wd to save weight. no T case Drive shaft and heavy front diff. 4wd is not really needed in most of the races that we run. We may be doing the Baja 500 and i think i will be at a disadvantage then.

Why not use hiems? Off the shelf and Clive approved.

The replacment hiems that i needed cost about 110.00 each. I needed 4. Johnny joints cost about 35.00 and they are rebuildable for about 8.00 each. so far i havent seen a benifit to running a hiem over a JJ in my aplication.

Our first race of the season will be the BITD Parker race Feb 3. The only way that we will be doing the 500 is if we are kicking ass in the JS points or we are way behind. The 500 is on or schedule but is not a points race. If we do Baja it will be NRTs first time in SCORE but the cars 4th. It was built to race Mexico...

I will keep you guys posted on our future races.

P.S. We are always looking for people to helps and to party with at the races.

Not a lot of the dreaded "Silt" in MDR or BITD. The Baja 500 is only in the JS schedule as a exhibition. I agree that 4WD would be a big plus in Mexico, but in JS most of the jeeps are now 2WD with the ability swap back to 4WD. My jeep however is 2WD only.
