Otay, i got the truck about 2 years ago bone stock, wish i had pics of it from then. First thing i did was to put a 4" Rancho lift kit on it
http://offroadworld.tenmagazines.com/gallery/BknBronco/148893.jpg
Then came 4:56 gears, detroit locker, rims and tires. And that was pretty much all i did with it, i just took it out on moderate trails, and towing the bikes out to the dez. I even considered doing a sas for crawlin, until i began chassing for a group of friends down in Baja.

In San Quentin

On the beach near Camaloon

Sandy hill climb

Made it!
http://offroadworld.tenmagazines.com/gallery/BknBronco/152788.jpg

Along with the miles of whooped out trails, and fire roads i had a blast, and became hooked on the go fast stuff! I realized that my Rancho kit wasn't going to cut it, and that i needed to upgrade in the worst way! So i began to scour the classifieds, to this point i have gotten Autofab coil buckets, eibach coils, deavers, and King shocks.
http://offroadworld.tenmagazines.com/gallery/BknBronco/152783.jpg

The next trip down south i was bottoming out so bad, it was damaging my fenders, so back to the classifieds i went, and i found me some Autofab fenders!
http://offroadworld.tenmagazines.com/gallery/BknBronco/152780.jpg

I was put in touch with the guys at Solo motorsports, and after talking with them, i decided to go with their cut and turned beams, and radius arms, the bko is going in this week to get all the parts of the puzzle put together. After the suspension is on, i will begin saving for other projects, i guess i opened up a can of worms...

Yikes, if you want we can tag team a busier road crossing as it takes more than one person. We will need to meet at the start area off of outlet center drive at 7 am. Look forward to seeing you there!

Brian, i am totally envious of your fab skills! That bumper looks great! Thanks for the offer.

I'm leaning toward something like that too, but I'm about $70,000.00 short. :HistericalSmiley: but seriously, tell me what you want and let's build it!

:roflsign: You and me both Pal! Let's talk about it on the 31st.

Seriously though, with your fab skills you can do so much of your own fab work on a pre-runner that you will be saving a ton of cash. Humps like me have to pay someone else for those skills.

Honestly...no, we didn't talk about travel numbers. I'm really not worried about numbers, what matters to me is if it works how i want it to.

Besides, it seems that everyone has a different way of measuring travel, so what is 16" to one person, wil be 12" to another,

Yup. We men seem to have that problem. :17: Seriously though, I want to see it work because I may go the coil bucket route as well. I like the Autofab buckets and the Camburgs as well.

i dont like those fenders, they just dont flow at all......maybe its just me, i like the ones that flow from front to back out and up, not that style where its just like a huge fender flare molded in......but to each his own, otherwise it looks real good
