Gas prices are killing me and I am thinking about maybe selling my bronco and buying a newer F150 and then making some long travel suspension. Just throwing out some ideas. Anybody with a 1992-2000 F150 now what their gas mileage is?

Nope I say go get you a cheap DD and keep the Bronco but that is my opinion...:waiting:

Damn,that truck is too nice to sell.But i can understand that you want something LT.Maybe buy a smaller truck like a ranger or 'yota and build that?I dont know.It all depends on where you do the most offroading too.If you find yourself in the desert mostly then LT is definitly the way to go.

A BII would Probably use twice the fuel a Sammy would...:slap2:

I think I may keep and put a 460 in or get a small Salvage title truck and build a long travel A-arm desert truck with coilovers

Get a cheapo little heapo Toyota Corolla or camary. The one I get gets close to 30 a gallon if I am nice to her and 26 if I'm not. If you blow an engine or pop a tranny you can get a replacement of each running for about 800 bucks on the high end. You are not going to win any races, but they start in the morning and will get you from point a to b cheaply. Plus they are quite cheap to get.
