Lets see the 5 was a beautiful autobahn where I was driving 90 MPH and still being passed by almost everything else. I even arrived at work 1/2 hour early! Crap come to think of it I forgot to clock in. Oh well... At the McD's drive through I was spoken to in crystal clear english, and they got my order right to boot!

Since I'm indoors working now I can't see much more impact but I will be going to the grocery store later today to get laundry detergent and while there I will see what the produce stands looks like.

I have no qualms about "minorities" My issue is with the people who illegally enter our country and then demand that they have the right to be here. Meanwhile there are hundreds of thousands of people that will have to wait longer because these asshats decide they have the "right" to be here. This country has a quota of 1 mil immigrants that are allowed to enter the US. The waiting list is of course longer than that. Every time the Gov. does an "Amnesty" program those who have been waiting in line have to wait longer and ever longer more since we end up having more people from a certain country bum rush the border and demand that they stay here too.

And don't talk to me about them doing "Jobs Americans won't do" I call bull****. You will see Americans mowing their own lawns or paying the enterprising neighbor kid down the street to do it again. You will see College kids picking veggies because it's hard earned but easy money. You will see more HS kids working at McD's and Taco Bell, you will see formerly unemployed people cleaning our office buildings. Sure costs will go up a little bit but corporate evolution will compensate for it. Farms will become more automated and add about 3 to 5 cents to the price of a head of cabbage. People working bottom rung jobs will earn more because companies will be forced to pay higher wages and/or offer benefits. All because the employers will be forced to hire people who belong here and want to live at a higher standard.

Well I just got back in & in Burbank I did'nt notice any closed stores or anything I even went to the Body shop thats gonna work on Sammy & it all mexicans & they were open ... I busted on them for being open & they said Hey I gotta pay the bills..

& traffic around burbank was as busy as ever...:shrug:

I just dont' understand why the mexicans just don't rebel against their own government.. I mean, it seems like just as much of a struggle to do that , then to go to another country, leaving (supposedely) their heritage, language, culture, etc behind.. Make their own country better. Our forefathers did it.. Why can't they.? I have no problems, well, I do,but, those problems dont' deal with immigrants coming here legally. They have that right, just legally.. System is setup and is difficult for a reason. The U.S. needs to have some type of regulation. Can't just let everyone come in. This country is already overpopulated in most states. Causing all kinds of econimical issues.. Transportation issues and smog, etc..

I don't have a problem with any nationality but I look at the guy I work with that is from Kenya. (he is my apprentice) He came here legally and I am sure it was alot harder for him to get here than any South American...

His family makes aroung $50 a month income on average and they are middle class citizens in Kenya.

So if he can get here legally why can the rest of the people....:waiting:

& sure once they're here & get hurt or sick they need madical care then yes they dont make enough money to buy their own issurance (alot of us dont, my Insurance is provided by my union )

Maybe if employers were forced to provide medical ins. or something then they would not be using Gov. resorces..
Or maybe if We did'nt have such out of control medical charges for visiting a hospital in the 1st place then our gov. would not be forking over so much to care for legal or illegal...

I've grown up in so Cal & have had MANY MANY friends from Mexico ( I'm singling them out because they are the Main force behind the protest )
& I also enjoy visiting Mexico for the Score Race's with the Moss Bros...
So I do feel some compassion towards them..

And Mexico could be rebuilt and flourish.. Too many fraudulent cases for Worker's Comp is also killing med insurance. And why the rates are high.
