I just did my first mud trip this weekend with these tires and can say they rock. THey offer gobs of traction and clean really well. On the street they are quiet just a low hum, street traction is very sure, and wet traction seems to be pretty good. It doesn't rain here much but what we did get they handled very well. No tread life is listed for them but the place I bought them from said that they should be comperable with other MT tires.
Size purchased: 35" x 12.5" R15
Rim size 15x8
Purchase price $705.00
Miles driven about 2000

And of course the beautyshot...

Oh and they are no good if you are getting into the soupy stuff to spray your friend, they give too much traction...

They look like great tires but geez, for $705 you could have gotten BFG,s and saved a hundred bucks.
BFG,s have and always have been proven PERIOD.No need to nickle and dime for sub-par crap.

And i must mention i think BFGS are pretty competively priced too..
You really cant get a better deal unless you want to count pennies....
BFG supports our sport to the fullest also.Love it!
Been using them for more than i can remember...
NEVER A SINGLE FLAT!I dont expect a flat anytime in MY lifetime!
Maybe LocoPony Should buy some good tires and see what the hypes all about????Just kidding Loco all in fun man.
Buy once, save money, support our sport,be happy and love life without flats.Pretty simple really.

Dont mean to drag this out but i honestly cant remember the last time i changed a flat tire ....
And ive been Off-Roading almost every weekend for the last 10 YEARS....
See you on the trail:hug:
I've been wheeling only a year now. I've been running BFGs the whole time. 5 flat tires. The sidewalls are terrible.

:14:
During my John Bull run a while back I got 2 cuts in my side walls of my BF'G M/T's that leaked the whole way back to camp.
But they were really old & beat up tires.
I used our TWW stickers as Tire repair patches. :roflsign:

Actually I used the stickers so that I knew when I was on the cuts that would only leak when they were on the bottom.
& thats why for Blanco I bought the Desert proven BF'G Baja T/A's
Very Tough Tire.

I must say I pretty much consider myself a BF'G guy. :)

Really 5?
Maybe i ve been lucky but ive had no problems.
Ive had gashs in the tread and such but that can be expected with any tire...
Sorry for the rant i was :cheers:last night.

inflated tires....who needs them...:14:
its a passing fad.
actually I've run BFG much of the time. reasonably priced and usually puncture resistant. unless owned by me.
I had some 33" BFG ATs and totally blew one of them out. Tore a sidewall on another one.
Stepped up to 35" MTs. Recently tore a sidewall on one of them. Two of my other tires currently have plugs in them from random punctures.
5 total flats in about 18 months timeframe. I wheel my rig hard and my tires hate me, but the poor sidewalls have caused me more than a few headaches.

I wonder if its possibly your driving?
Maybe you need to learn to pick better lines?
Have you since switched to another Brand & solved this Problem Or? :6:

705 was out the door for me. I COULD NOT get BFG MTs for less then 875 at the time and 700 was still a bit of a stretch for me.
Plus I have thrown tread on 2 BFGs and am not impressed too much by them.

I've never gotten a flat while on an obsticle. They always seem to happen while I am driving fast through the desert.

Update: A little over one year, 6000 more miles and finally a chance to run them in the rain. Havent seen too much wear on them and they still give gobs of traction. Even wet traction was great. Finally drove these in the rain this last Friday, 200 miles and 0 slippage. Even turns at full throttle didn't get these tires to lose traction.
As for you BFG lovers, I'm sorry I have had those pieces of crap in the past and was not impressed, 2 tread seprations, 0 wet traction and just ok mud traction. I would never buy those things ever again. Plus on top of that, their warranty is garbage. Don't believe the hype. And no BFGs are not the same price.

Man i swear i must just be lucky...I havent had any problems with tires lately.I did get a flat(puncture wound in the sidewall)with a Pro-Comp Xterrain lately(about 4 months ago)but thats it?I offroad quite a bit and the last thing i have problems with are my tires. And yes i do abuse my crap, take a look at any of my trucks!
Either way though, thanks for the review Froggman i may coinsider them next time around. The prices of the BFGs lately have gone through the roof!
