a little while ago i developed the dreaded death wobble. with the lift install being so fresh i was almost out of options as to what could be causing it. so after alot of checking of components i found the problem.
the bushing that attaches the pass side bracket to the front of the diff has shifted out on me about 3/4 of an inch
unfortuneatly i'm in the crunch for may long weekend right now and dont' have the time to tear apart my front end again to replace that bushing
so my questions are.........
1) i know that it's not the safest to run my truck this way but will i be ok for a little bit longer until i can spend the day tearing back into it
2) is this going to be a common problem for me where i'm gonna have to go into my front end every couple of months to replace this bushing
thanks in advance for the help guys

1. most likely you will be fine. just be ready for crappy steering. The 1951 Chevy truck needs all its bushings up front and has needed them for 20? years! Lots of play in the wheel...I just drive it slower so I can compensate for the wander.
That said....change them as soon as you can. Dont wanna wreck the wear pattern on the tires....more than usual for TTB anyway. It didnt take me long to do all TTB bushing in my rig...IIRC, it was about 4 hours? for all 4 locations..Radius Arms(L&R), and TTB Pivot (L&R).
2. No- not that regular for replacement. I've done all mine once. used Energy suspension products poly bushings to replace factory rubber.

They will probably do it...BUT!!! it aint worth doing if its not replaced as the alignment probably will NOT hold.
Just My Humbled Opinion. --> change the tierod... grab a tape measure and do the alignment yourself. not difficult. (either order -->go wheel...change bushings)..then get alignment afterward....= $$ better spent.

Nice BTW.
Fix the bushing and then an alignment will fix the sideways thing. the tie rod thing will affect it also. I know its alot to get around, but the peace of mind its nice too.

FWIW, I agree. Fix everything and then pay for one alignment.
Also, i'm sure you already have, but go back and make sure all your bracket bolts are tight. I only say this because I'm a dumbass and had that passenger side TTB bracket losen up and swing left/right (like a pendulum) and give me some butt-puckering death wabble...
