Here are a couple pics of John's 1974 Triumph Trident. The bike had one owner before John and was built as a drag bike in '77, but the guy never finished it, just dinked with it every couple of years. It was a 750 now is a 920. The paint is also original, and John wants to keep it that way.
About 3 years ago, the guy wanted to sell it as is was to fast for him...that's when John bought it. His 2nd or 3rd ride on it after he bought he blew a piston, as the compression was too high, there was only 50 miles or so on the pistons at the time. But finally, we were able to get some new custom pistons from Venolia about 2 months ago and the bike is up and running and doing great!
It has the sweetest sound to her as well. Her 3 cylinders have a deeper, make you horny sound, than the other 2 bikes and their 2 cylinders! Though those 2 aren't any slouches!!
I do have to say though, that I've learned a TON about bikes in the past 2 years!
OOPS! Sorry, I better get the pics up huh? :eusa_doh:

And here is the original paint, the black is in near perfect shape, the gold is crackled with age, but gives it an awesome look! I tried to capture it in the pic, but it's kind of hard to make out.
