It's about 7+ hours each way to the nearest (legal) wheeling spot for me. Trying to catch up from being unemployed for a while, too.
Also, almost all of our wheeling locations are closed from around thanksgiving until somewhere st. patricks day / easter (or end of fall until spring).

One of the many reasons I hated living in Georgia. Although we went to N.Carolina which was only about 2 1/2 hours away to the smokey mountains, which was nice in spring and summer.

I have some not so legal spots around here that everyone wheels and legal ORV parks with in 2.5 hours of my house. Tellico, River Rock, WITC (5.5 hours) Gray Rock may not be that far either (4 or 5 hours).
Jon River Rock shouldn't be that far for you?;)

Not really. Atlanta at some point will probably be the largest city in the nation. Think about it all the major cities we have now besides ATL is surrounded by water. ATL has probably tripled in size in the last 15 years and the suburbs are not far away from reaching Alabama.

I should have said "It's a 4-wheeler park", but anyway. I only took a handfull of pictures... because, well, it's hard to take pictures of yourself while driving a 4 wheeler. And if you just park it somewhere and take a picture of it, it looks stupid.
See?

looks like a jungle....is it?
how big is it...the park? enough to keep you occuppied longer than the drive to get there?

I was there maybe 4.5 hours and put just over 50 miles on the 4 wheeler. I hit about 1/2 the trails. Was it fun? Yes. Difficult? No. I only engaged the 4wd once...and that was to ford a swamp at the end of one of the trails. I suppose that's what I get for rock-crawling the 4 wheeler at Tellico and then going to a mom-and-pop ATV park. Will I go back? Yes, maybe once or twice more. To take a buddy who has a racing-style ATV. 90% of the trails are geared more towards them and dirt bikes.
