Shifter Karts

Do any of you know much about Shifter Karts?

I've been trying to come up with a form of racing I might actually be able to afford. :6:

& I'm wondering what their about & what sorta race's they do & what it all cost, etc etc.... :16:

Not sure what shifter karts are. Are they like go karts? If so, they have some bad ass road courses you can race, and they flat out fly. However, you and I would be a major wind resistence problem. You can get a nice start up kart for around 3-4 g's, but then of course they have the hi $ guys that just go crazy and spend 10g's plus easily. Stick to the RC races, and you don't have to worry about getting hurt, haha, j/k.
