So after a few add ons and some questions here comes another one.
Wich carb are better the holley or demon?
I have a 600cfm on my engine but its a bit old and im loocking for a slightly bigger one like a 650 or 670 and wondering if the demon's road demon jr 625cfm are any good for me.

Regular driving, daily drives, ocasionall off roading and even some racing is what i do..

What sort of racing?
IIRC Demons are basically Drag race oriented...
If your off roading, you need to keep in mind who has the most off camber/incline friendly float bowl design. :m2c:

Not racing as in drag strip or anything like that, just kicking ass when a....... stop besides me and starts messing with me.

you'll need to do more than just switch to a higher cfm carb to get any kind of performance increase unless what you have now is choking your engine:shrug:

i think that with the 383 would be enough, theres lots of goodies in and on it.

carb equation for ya
volumetric efficiency x CI x Max rpms/3456
So .85x383x6,000/3456= 565.1909
So actually a 600 is about right for your setup unless you got extensixe head work done to it. I've got a holley truck avenger and love it ofcourse you've got to tweak it just right so it may take so tinkering to get it right the edelbrock off road carb is much more forgiving. :16:
