After years of testing in race conditions, now YOU can own the bushings that beat BAJA.

Eliminate the inconsistent reactions of conventional bushings. When the BAJA BUSHINGS are installed in the leaf spring eyes they allow the leaf springs to rotate on a spherical bearing that is Teflon lined. This causes the leaf spring to move freely and with the consistency that was previously available only with coil springs.

When a leaf spring with conventional bushings is compressed on one side, it must twist the leaf to allow the solid axle to angle. This results in added spring rate. The BAJA BUSHINGS eliminate the twist with up to 18 degrees of pivot angle, making a free moving consistent spring rate.

SBA2004 for 1.5" Spring Eye, 2-1/2" spring width - $160.00 / pair

SBA2041 for 40mm Spring Eye, 70mm (2-1/4") spring width - $170.00 / pair

The Secret to Success

The Holmes Racing Class 7S Race Truck has been using the BAJA BUSHINGS for more than 3 seasons. In 2005 it won the SCORE Laughlin Desert Challenge, San Felipe 250, Primm 300, Baja 500 and was awarded the 2005 SCORE Class 7S Championship. It swept all four races to take first in CORR Nissan Nationals.

I was wondering if anyone hear has run them?

I'm thinking about getting some for Blanco.. :humm_smilie:..........

If I'm not mistaken, it will require new springs or at least the mains to fit the larger diameter of the new bushing. When I picked up my springs for the 1000 I was told that they were ready yet for resale.

Actually I called them last week About Jeep YJ springs ( Thats what is going in the Sammy soon. )
& they said yes we have ones that fit in the YJs springs...
Yet they never said anything about needing a larger eye or anything like that?

Second hand knowledge has told me that the road noise will be dramatically increased, since the rubber or urethane bushings dampened some of that. But you have a cage so you probably have enough noise already.

a number of people ive talked to who have ran these things all say its NOT WORTH IT. they are pretty expensive and wear out QUICK. no real noticable difference either if your bushings arent toast.

Part of me thinks they might be better for crawler articulation vs High speed travel. :m2c:
