Hey guys I just wanted to let you know that Mel is in the hospital... She was helping a friend last night with carriage rides for weddings. Well they had the bride and groom going for a ride on the square when a car rearended the carriage and through Mel and Clint in front of the carriage. Well the carriage ran both of them over...

Mel is banged up pretty bad but she is ok and will be out of the hospital in the morning if all goes well..

Clint was not as lucky and has suffered broke ribs and a lacerated liver. He is in ICU. He already had a broke knee and was getting help from Mel...



Mel being Ms. tuff chic after being ran down by thier carriage chased the horses and to make sure they were ok...

When I talked to her she wasn't even as worried about herself as much as the horses..

I know she hasn't resigned up here but I figure yall know her here. I posted this on other sites as well so yall may have already read this...


I thought yall may want to know. Thanks in advance for any thoughts and prayers..

Oh yeah on a postive note they checked out her kidneys and everything thier was good.... So no worry about her transplant...



On a funny note she said the the bruise from the wheel accross her back she said why couldn't look like a mud tire or something cool....




No more word on Clint yet. I also found out the the Bride had to go to the hospital in a neck brace and the groom had to get 14 stitchs...

Her injuries was cut scrape and bruiseing... They are holding her to observe her to make sure of no interenal injury and they were really worried about her kidney's. Sense she has only had them for 2 years now...


At this point no word if they have any leeds one thier suspect yet...:waiting:

Well she is still in the hospital and they may still hold her till tomorrow... It all depends on her hemoglobin is not right and they may have to give her blood. If they give her blood she stays until tomorrowand if they don't she goes home today...


Clint is still in the ICU and he is have a hard time with his heart rate so they restricted his vistation so he could rest better...
