well my factory metallic paint is oxidizing like crazy all of the sudden on the hood and the roof... so i need to do something about it... it's going to be a garage/driveway job nothing fancy but i want it to look ok... and i am not doing any body work that will require bondo just some places will be hammered out some then painted over... i am thinking of getting rid of the eddie bauer scheme and going to something like this... using red durabak for the lower half (the hard glossy bedliner) and staying close to stock semimetallic navy (using sprayon duplicolor like *******/pepboys/etc. have)... i want to keep some navy so i don't have to worry about having the wrong color doorjambs or the wrong color interior or underhood paint.... anyone have suggestions or ideas
oh and for the record... i am not painting my stock rims... i have those beadlocks on the way that will be hammered black... and if i do the bronco red they may have some sort of red accent
