Looks like we are going back out again next Saturday, June 10th. We may be joining with some guys from the Spinning Fours 4x4 club and running Cleghorn and 2N17x with them. For those who don't know the trails, they start right off the 15 Freeway at the Cleghorn exit (about 1/2 way up Cajon Pass). Cleghorn Trail itself is an easy fire road for the most part, but it has lots of OPTIONAL very difficult sections for the more adventurous. This trail leads to the Silverwood Lake area, where we would then pick up 2N17X trail...that trail is also not too difficult, but it also has some harder spots to challenge those who want a challenge.
If we make great time (a big IF usually), we could then continue on to do Dishpan Springs, since 2N17X trail kind of ends up in Arrowhead area anyways. Or, people can go home from there via 173 or Hwy 18 down mountain. Dishpan Springs is a Most Difficult trail - not recommended for those without at least one locker and rocker protection anymore.
Yet to set a meeting time, but probably be around 8AM on Saturday at the McDonalds parking lot down from the 138 exit (just past Cleghorn exit). Let me know if there is any interest.
