What does the book say it has?
& do you suspect it might be other than factory?
If so why?

Book had crap info. 11-12 is stock. Everyone is saying i have to pull it and measure to find out size. Just wanted to know if someone had a better solution to my question. so i could get my parts before i pulled it or should i say drop it?

If your truck came with either then I say you have one of two options:
1 Pull it and measure.
2 buy both and return the unused one.
You gotta have the flywheel turned anyway so just pull it and get a friend to drive you over to the parts shop.

I would pull it and measure just for the fact that if came with an 11" clutch someone could of up graded it to an 12" clutch... I am sure that this is not the trucks first clutch job...;)

Thanks for the replies. The reason i wanted to get parts first is because i'm puttin a 6" lift,35" tires on at the same time i have all the lift, tires parts, but not the clutch parts, i do not know how long it will be down so i was tring to get everything together before i started the porject.
I do have a question about the lift WILL I NEED A DIFFERENT STEARING ARME because of the lift???

If i's you there fella i would see if the part store had both in stock before starting or make sure you could get one of both then drop, and measure then you just go wherever you need too.

you will have 2 options with the steering issue you can one get a dropped pitman arm and have you steering eat at your gear box or 2 you can get a hight steer nuckle's and do crossover steering witch i find to be easer to steer but you will to get a 2wd steering box becouse of the way the 4x4 is designed me and a couplke buddies just did a 18inch kit on a 87 silverado we did the steering cross over with hydrolic assist
