So I am taking on two projects now..probably not get far this weekend since we are lifting Chris' this weekend.

First is the 3G Alt my brother got me for a wedding gift

ill give you a hint: it is to seal something off (yes it is a battery box and no it isnt for a battery)

no its not for OBA, but i do have a york 210 compressor on the way for OBA.

im having second thoughts on the bat box...it doesnt seem like it might actually work. not with handles and as much silcone as it needs. I am thinking now of just running PVC back through the firewall and sticking a cone filter on the end of it, inside the cab

OK thats what I figured but you've not explained how your gonna do it?

yeah i am gonna start looking for one of those dist boots that came on mustangs i believe.

not that i am planning on it, more of a precautionary measure.

I run one of those on Blanco & I can tell you it would only help some Its in NO WAY a water proofing...

It will help alot when splashing through water but wont do sqwat when you go Playing U-Boat Commander...:4:

nope i would never be in the navy...like i said, no plan to get into water like that, just a precautionary measure if i have to cross a creek again

Hopefully you learned your lesson about crossing creeks. lol. I think the mustang boot would help agains water splashes but not for submersion. I don't think anything is good for submersion except maybe some sealercone around the plug wires and the cap. Who knows. If it drowns in the creek then it doesn't have enough lift on it. lol
