Well over the past couple months ive been wheelin and dealing and trying to get a little side business started. Been joking with my head sales man (RJ) that the name should be Custom Computer Creations and Parts so that way we can abbreviate it CCCP for ****s and giggles.

but anyways to the point of this thread. Got our first customer. Waiting on the rest of the check to go through. After my price mark up the total came to $1940.32. It more of a hobby, but for the guy im doing it for, my time is worth some money. Granted out of all that I am only making about 160 dollars. Charged 4% of the cost of the part then 6% of the total cost before my mark up. Not bad for the computer he is getting. Since through Dell it would cost out the ass. I am working on a quote for a buddy of mine, he will get it at cost though. So one customer and a possible second so far.

I made the first order of parts today since my bank is wierd on large personal checks and only allows so much through at a time. I only have (well had) 600 of the total check and i deposited it yesterday. the rest will go through next week.

thought i would post up the specs of the computer. It is a really nice. RAM is over the top, but that is what the customer wanted so I said fine, few more cents for me.

Damn that list confuses the hell out of me,im a computer retard.:17: So how much of your time does it take to set it up?That seems like a deal you should raise your labor cost a bit.Anyways good luck with it.

in laymans turns, its a badass computer for gaming.

usually takes a couple days for me to get it all up and running. depending on my moods and how fast I want to work. (now a couple days means only working on it for an hour or 2 each night.

yeah i should, but since im not getting stuff and wholesale or direct and it is more of a hobby for me, it doesnt bother me too much. cant complain. I am doing something I enjoy and still getting almost 200 bucks out of it

Let me know when you start Build Tricked out LapTops.. :ewg:

I dont think I'll ever go back to a desk top PC...
Once you get use to the mobility of lap tops its hard to see being tied down to a desk.
