HI GUYS, NICE TO BE HERE, TO BE ABLE TO SHARE SOME EXPERIENCES, WE ARE THE CHUPAKABRAS RACING TEAM FROM TIJUANA, ANOTHER CLASS 3, WE'RE BACK AFTER ONE YEAR AFTER LOOSING COMPLETELY OUR RACE CAR AT THE 2005 BAJA 500, WE ROLLOVER ABOUT 6 TO 7 TIMES INTO A HUGE CLIFF JUST A FEW MILES AFTER SIMPSON HILL, WE SURVIVE PRETTY WELL, THE ROLL CAGE DID HIS JOB, THAT'S WHY WE'RE BACK, SO, HAD TO BUILD A NEW ONE, START FROM SCRATCH, WELL, WE TOOK ALMOST EVERYTHING FROM THE OTHER CAR, ENGINE, TRANSMISSION, SEATS, FUEL CELL..ETC, , WE DIDN'T HAD THE NECCESARY EQUIPMENT TO TRY TO TAKE THE RACE CAR OUT OF THERE, NOT EVEN WITH 4 CHASE VEHICLES. THE POINT IS THAT WE'RE GLAD TO BE BACK, TO KEEP CHASING THAT BLACK BRONCO, THERE IS A LOT OF WORK TO BE DONE YET, TO MAKE A RELIABLE RACE CAR, TO BUILD THE UNBREAKABLE MACHINE, LIKE THE BIG BOYS SAID, SO SEE YA HERE..

ALSO, U TOOK VERY NICE PICTURES, THKS,..

pd, i'm posting some pictures of how are old race car end up at the 2005 baja 500. ( we roll over almost at the midle of the night, w/o moon. and no body around) the car at the start jump it's the new one, ok, byes...

It Was A Scary But Scary Moment, It Last So Long That I Thougth That It Will Never End, It Keept Rolling And Rolling, It Feels Pretty Bad, Not Recomend To Live That, Jeje, I Retrieved The Rally Loger Data From Rally Track, And I Put The Coordinates On This Software, Google Earth, And You Can See There The Last Moments Of The Chupakabras, I'm Attaching A Google Eart File With The Exact Location Of Where All That Happend, Those Two Last Spots Were Registered In The Rally Loger Gps.,, So If You Have The Google Eart Software Just Open The File, It Will Take You There In A Second, Or Just Download The Software First Then Open The File., There Is A Free Version, Ok,

We Too Are Very Happy To Be Alive. So Fasten Your Seat Belts, Please, And Your Helmets Too. Bye.

& I feel Honored that your using my pics in your page of pics..
( I'm glad I watermarked them ) :)

OH & I think your Exploder looks MUCH better with the back windows cut out! :m2c:
With the Back windows painted over it kinda looked like a Euro rally racer or Dakar racer...

Plus I bet it cooler inside Temp wise with all that opened up too.....

We limited the wheel travel at 16"( NO MORE THAN 10" TO 12" AT THE SHOCKS), we can go higher, but not always more it's better, we didn't had that much wheel travel on the rear; the ttb it's completely stock, no need for anything else, just the 2.5 degrees on the excentric for proper alignment, the 4.56 ring and pinion gears to move those 33" baja t/a tires and the extended radius arms, and let me tell you that it feels awsome, it works great, and only with one shock per wheel, imagine with some 3 tube bypass, maybe someday, right, ..

your 100% correct, with the windows cut open, not just it's much cooler but the dust goes away very easy, it's much cleaner, we had race before also with the windshield on, and it suck's, god!!, i don't know what we were thinking at that time,

the first explorer was a 3 seat race car, the one that u see we are flying throug the dust, on a silt , with the watermark of tracksidephoto on it, that jump i still can remember it like if were yesterday, well, it's the same photo on the chupakabras thumbnail,.

pd. excuse my english. never wrote in english before..
