Something most dont know about me...ive long been a fan of german air-cooled cars...beetles,squarebacks,porsche 914s etc.Now i am nowhere near financially and physically ready to buy a street project, but if i did i would consider a 914,kahrmann ghia,or squareback. My all time favorite is the nocthback but they're getting pricy and the beetle would not be considered because i would cave and turn it into a baja LOL.:chairshot:
Tell me what you would choose and why.Have any of you ever owned or driven any of these models?I myself have only had a 68 bug in the past...

OK I'll admit it...
I've always wanted a 914..But It would'nt be stock for very long, The mods would only be suddle ones tho... Like slight fender flares maybe with the shaved turn signals...
& some Heavy suspension work etc etc.....

& My Dad had a sweet Ghia when I was Kid & ever since I've always had a soft spot in my heart for them....

Do you remember the One in the Movie DEATHRACE 2000 ?

A 914-6 would be Awsome! :m2c:

Maybe one day, if I find one cheap...
Then again off topic I've always wanted a FORD powered Lotus Europa..:ewg:

i had a 74 VW thing. it needed a lot of work and i didn't have time or money to rebuild it. i was going to build it with long travel suspesion but i sold it instead. my uncle has three bugs. one is a oval window rag top that i wouldn't mind getting my hands on and build a cal look out of it.
