Well, as some of you may already know I got hooked up with a Detroit Locker from a great friend of mine for FREE a few months back. Well, I've been working M-F 8am-8pm and every Saturday since the beginning of April (SUCKS, BTW). I've had this entire 8.8 rear end sitting on my work bench ever since I brought it home. Father's day was coming up and my wife asked me, what do I want to do. I thought it was a trick, but she said I could do anything I wanted and she wouldn't care . :pianodance: Dam I love this woman. I started to think and it took about .10th of a second and said I want to work on my Bronco, she said great, do want me to make you breakfast or anything 1st? I said no thanks. So Saturday night rolls around (day before Fathers Day, my kids were out of town, and my other two gave me their gifts Sunday morning) and I'm getting antsy, so I went to the garage and took out the Locker and started draining the fluid out of my Bronco. That went easy, so I still had some time left (only 7:30) and it only took me about an hour to do what I had so far and all my tools were already to go, so I started taking my Bronco's rear apart. Got done around 9:45 and was happy. Woke up early spent day with family and got to go to work on the Bronco around 6:30pm. Now I got it all put together around 8:00pm, put my tools away and have been dieing to get out and test this locker. I love the feeling of knowing it's their and can't wait to use it, where it was meant to be used, off road. Well, that's my Locker/Father's day story.

PISMO? When's this? Doubt I can make it, but you never know. Thread Hijacker, this is about my locker dammit. Oh, I guess I was hijacking my own thread, dam it's been too long since I've been here, I almost forgot who I was talking to, um am I talking to myself again? Dam I hate it when I do that.

Well, you said you wanted to take it off road So I mentioned Pismo...
Its tentative for late july early august....
at this point I'm leaning towards july 22nd Cause I have a friend that says he's going that day for sure ....

this way if 99% of you flake again I know he'll be there....

:3: so hows the locker feel?

Feels just like a locker should. Wants to push the truck straight ahead, and makes little chirps with the tires if I take off too hard going around corners, but not bad and it's actually better handling than my Jeep was with a locker. Now I need to get it OFF-PAVEMENT>:awesome_dude:

Cool score on the locker. My wife gets a little pissed when I talk about the bronco. She can only take so much then she is tired of it. Usually takes 5 minutes. lol.
