i'm thinking of putting an XJ 8.25" and dana 30, under a...
Dodge neon
yes a neon, and my mom is all for the idea! so the neon is in the planning stage now to receive the axles listed above, and to add a 4.0L from an explorer.
what do you guys think of this? my goal is to get the roofline of the neon to match the jeep's. how funny would it be to see a lifted Neon going down the road!

ok, new goal, get the 30's to fit under it, add a borg/warner1350, m5od, and a 2.9L v6, all from a bronco II. wow, this will be hard

that would be intresting .. but i dont think very street legal
you would have to completely rebuild the front and rear end and do a lot of welding/grinding/cutting, to get a tranny and t-case u will need to lengthen the frame mostlikely .....
just seems like alot of work..

Why?
Is reality setting in...
Like you said. "My very crazy idea"
But People do it ...
It would probably be easier to just drop the Body onto an existing frame with 4X4 already..

I've never really looked at a Neon. Do they even have a frame or are they unibody?
