Just found this thing for sale in Apple Valley.

It's a good thing I don't have $3K lying around.

funny. Dad and I were just talking about this very project today. I have one ahead of it at this time....and that is my F150. should be quick as it only needs a transmission and a head gasket and to have the rear end rebuilt/fixed. Lift will be later...like when the hoist is installed.

So its day is coming. Hopefully get to start this by the end of the year provided nothing else gets busted.

I'm getting close to bringing this one into the garage to start its road to roadability.

I have the roof to finish, and the motorcycle to reassemble-then I have space for the Ghia to live in the garage.

Yes then I can give you a number.

Utah delivery in Sept. might be an option if stuff works out. Or later in winter if I can schedule some skiing in Park City.

Bike is getting worked on now. Should go quick....have clutch read to assemble, tires mounted to wheels, and then its carb cleaning. I was off a little in my estimate for a May start to the Ghia. Not too bad though considering we did have snow in May that held me up a few days on the roofing. Not ready to move it yet as we could have hail and it is currently safe in the back garage.

Stay tuned Cam. I'll have a plan of attack before long once I see what it needs to safely drive down the road reliably. I'll leave the appearance stuff alone at first until we talk seriously about it.

So whats the latest with the Ghia?
Since I'll be selling off all my stuff being I don't wanna throw money at the projects like the Sammy still needs lots of money thrown at it to be what I want it to be.

The Ranchero probably does too.

I'm gonna go to my friends shop that ever since I've known him has run Ford clubs & ask him about my options with the Ranchero..

But maybe a simpler project like the Ghia?

Honestly, I have done nothing with it yet. Life keeps getting in the way...as did a trip and other projects requiring immediate attention.
I'm frustrated by this. And to that end have begun to make some serious considerations of what projects I will continue. I hope to not be at this point next year at this time.

I started moving stuff to the shop in prep for project purging. I didn't expect it to be quite this cold this season. It was well below zero for a couple weeks...And that wreaks all sorts of havoc on stuff.
I'll let you know when its a runner/driving. And yes, you will have first option. I will not forget.

Yeah. No rush....I want to rush it but we just got over 19" of snow here. I cant even get to the farm to get parts. My skidder is down. and my big tractor is stuck at the farm....ugh. But I have an 8hp 32" snow blower I gave a work out to. Getting too old for this. haha

I couldn't work on the Ghia if I wanted. Its stuck in my back garage that is buried. I'm sure it will be spring before it comes out of there.
I'm a month behind where I wanted to be at this point due to another (good) trip to Utah. Not like I'd have been able to do much anyway as the temps were way cold while I was away. Motivation is there, but I'm waiting for cooperation from the weather.
