joining in on the trailer fun.

Folks and I went in on this gem on Thursday. Pick it up on Sunday when I take the right truck to pull it home.

its a 2003 Jayco 28'. With the rear hitch, I can pull a small trailer with the motorcycles on it. Or the boat I no longer have.

Hooked up photos in a couple days.

Pulled like a dream. Had a head wind to go get it...and waited out the 55MPH gusting and just now got home @10PM. Its a trick to get into the driveway without having it kiss the bed side of the truck, but I managed......

to take up the entire street to make it happen without incident. Photos hooked up tomorrow. Still have stuff to do before I do some uploads.

lol

gonna do a couple overnighters to places as a shake down run and then a 4 day with the bike trailer in tow. Ought to only be about 60' in length...so well under the 75' total for the states I plan to tow in.
interior ....

and ...shocker #2....ordered new tires for it to mount on those wheels off my car trailer...

and swap the RV wheels/tires with that trailer.

tires arrived and if I didn't have to go to a class Sunday, I'd mount them up.
Hoping to get out soon in this.

It is in near perfect shape buddy. I think it was a steal of a deal too.

Considering it’s age I’d guess they used it a few times & then they stored it?

Things looks NEW!

You likely wont like it....bought from Wahl Marts on line store and shipped to the door for $200. mounted them and balanced with the airsoft BBs

Trailer King tires. slightly larger than what came with it.

tough to beat the price in this area. Unlike greater metro areas that experiences competition in pricing...rather than take it or leave it pricing. I think you forget not every area is like LA for conveniences. enough about that.

Now....I will try to get photos of it tomorrow. Had to move it up to the folks driveway for cleaning it out and stocking it up. Wanted to get the caps on the wheels after the greasing of the hubs....

Off to work on assembly of the bike I need to ride in 3weeks.

well here we are as we were about to leave for the Hills. Just shy of 63' overall length. Towed great. Wind on the way home made me use a bit more diesel. If I do this 2 or 3 bike haul again, I need to get a better tie down method. For a single bike, I have a receiver carrier that can slide in the back.
