the latest is that the bastid is stuck in the shop. mostly due to the metric butload of snow that has the road blocked for me to get there. I was expecting a light easy winter with time to get projects done. I was WRONG. More snow this year than in the last 9-10 years. I have stuff to work on but cant get there. Will borrow a skidder to clear the road enough to get out there as soon as my buddy gets his new wheel for it...need to dig out the trailer to haul it....literally.

Almost can make it back to the farm after 2 decent sized snow storms dusted us with 19" and 15" consecutively in less than 2 weeks time. I can get to within sight of the shop (about 1.5 miles) before I will get stuck.
Really thought I'd be further along on this rig this winter...but it has been about 2 months since I set foot in the shop due to weather and a pesky bout with bronchitis/pneumonia. So maybe I can have this ready for driving back and forth to the shop next winter???

Yes...it is REALLY Spring now. Winter weather is still upon us here however. I'm telling you though that I'm seriously contemplating getting rid of the whole slew of projects and just doing motorcycles. Just keep my SuperDuty and maybe an extra vehicle...just dont know.

just 2. But I'd like to get 2 more while still holding on to the others. Atleast for now. In no way could I move and take all my crap with me...not that I would want to actually.

Too much is keeping me tied down actually. I already sold one of my most handy trailers...as much as it pained me to do so. I will make do with my other as I move forward. I am looking forward to the point where I can spend time away from here during the year. Work outside the area when its so cold and snowy here. But not back in CA, or AZ. Possibly in UT, or even in TN/NC. I like it here in the country...where its ok to like the POTUS, the rule of law, etc. -- but I also still like to broaden the horizons with travel to experience different perspectives in the field. I'm not going to stay young forever....but so far so good.
Motorcycles travel with tools favorably in the truck. Much better than 4WD rigs.

Well dumping all the trucks & my Ghia to me will free up a lot of space for the much smaller bikes that take so much less room!

Dump may not be the correct term here.

Pass on a vehicle, my stewardship of the vehicle is coming to a close, sell a vehicle.
Shouldnt think of getting rid of either I suppose....how do you get rid of a family member? Most have been around as long as some family...and I'm not looking for them to die in a crash haha
