Something special is making its way East from CA

There are no photos I have yet. But it left LA last night with an ultimate destination of my Quonset shop.
Look for it to make a stop in Grand Junction? CO -- Wheatland, WY -- Rapid City, SD
Its a friend that hasn't been around here in a few years that is going to find some TLC and attention that it deserves.

This has been in the workings for a few months and now its finally happening.

A 90 FSB with an SAS.....custom bumpers.....custom paint..

Know which one I'm talking about?

Its The Beater.
should be here next week...photos will follow

Wow!
Good for you!
So does this mean I'm getting 1st bids on the Ghia being you'll need to make room?
I'll trade you my sweet Miata or sell it if need be?

because like you, I'm not able to take more without selling stuff I have to allow me the space.

I have some room in the Quonset for this and the new Toyota 4wd pickup (84?) that dad just got.
But that does not mean you don't get dibs on that Ghia. I won't be to interested in the Miata. Not because its not cool....but I wouldn't have much use for it here.

I still have the old blue diesel to pull apart, Just now I have some potential use for the front body work as spares for the Beater.

Beater will need to sit in the Quonset for a little until it is ready to hit the road. And I don't want prying eyes and sticky fingers or vandals to bring it any harm. It is likely getting its first bath in years as it makes it way across the country.

I will invest in another box of CabFresh for rodent deterrent.

Did he just lose interest in it?

Did you get it for a low price?

You just gonna drive it as is?

yes lost interest, got married and did not pass smog.

He made me a deal yes. It will be driven as is but will have a few changes to personalize it some. It hasn't been on the road in 7 or 8 years I think....so "as is" will be a relative term. I will not turn it into a TTB again if that is what you are asking.

3 Broncos will not be too many....I think.
Definitely have to get rid of a couple vehicles for sure.

It wants to be driven. I want to drive it. I want to drive locopny too.
we will see how it gets done. I don't expect it to happen fast. ...but it will happen.

Please PM me on how much I need to start saving to get my Ghia?
I personally have trouble saving money.
I pretty much live pay check to pay check, spending money as I get it.

So when your ready I'd like to gather the funds gathered.

Not ignoring this project...but weather has not been real conducive to working on it or even getting to the Quonset. Friggin ice and B.A.D. Must cut down some trees to keep that Drift smaller....too close to the road.

It needs to run....a battery, maybe a starter?, fresh fuel and/or a fuel pump? then anything that pops up on the test drive around the farm. I have 160 acres to get on it to shake it down.

Started working on this project again after a long hiatus.
I am currently working on getting the fuel tank dropped to clean and replace fuel pump. Should help get it running so I can figure out what else it needs.

Cool!
Personally I'm Glad I no longer have all these toys.
Allows me more money to actually spend on less toys.

Too many Projects allowed me like a dollar here & a dollar the there, so Now I can actually see some growth on my Toys.

I mean I still have my Boat & it needs a Battery & little things like that & My Dodge Does need some love but compared to trying to spend money on

Sammy
Bronco
Ranchero

On top of the

Boat & Dodge.
Other basic maint work on the daily drivers.

I'm much better off now.

Sure I miss my old toys & feel your excitment on this latest toy!

So you have 2 Big Broncos right now?
& How many EB's?

Never mind all your other toys?

yep. 3 broncos.

Getting fewer trucks and tractors on the list.
Looking to get it going to decide on the direction I will take with the other 2. I'm not getting younger...and I either want to enjoy them or move them for something I will enjoy.

Plus the shop is FULL of stuff. A LOT of stuff. Stuff that makes it tough to get in and work on the stuff I need to work on. Not so much about $$ that keeps me from working on stuff...its space and currently how warm it ISN'T.
