small update to this project. I sold the engine out of it. So I'm ready to swap motor and trans out of the F350 into this now. I think I will be buying a Sky swap kit for the front leaf SAS. Probably could build one....with all the parts I have, but I'd like to get this moving a little faster.

Need to buy a clutch too then.

It is sitting in the shop. I cleaned out a space for it and tried to start it or get it to turn over. it didn't and I quit as I have a lot of stuff to move around to get ready for winter and the rig wont be going anywhere anytime soon.

I may try again in a couple weeks to spend a couple hours diagnosing why the starter will not engage.

I'm more interested in getting the donor truck stripped down and parts over to the OJB at this point in the year. Just to make it easier for delivery. Once there is snow on the ground it gets tougher to do from that location.

it does make it more of a challenge....no doubt.

Also it amplifies how many projects I have...trying to make room inside for them all. Too many to put on one hand and too many for one building--sorta.

creative stacking in my 2nd garage....fits the OJB (minus engine and trans), my Ford 2N tractor (needing some final paint work and wiring), 2 John Deere 400 tractors (needing various work), and my New Holland LS160 skidder. Plus some various 'garage' crap. Its tight but kept it all out of the ice storm.

I think I could fill a 60x80 shop with no effort. Bet I'd still have to keep stuff outside too.
anyway, I almost have the Saginaw pump pulled off truck to swap it onto Happy 2. figured there was no need to buy another pump when I had one I was not using and would be replaced by the one on the diesel.

This project is getting closer to being worked on again. I've acquired some necessary parts for axle swap. I do have one "more expensive" bracketry assembly to purchase before the next step can happen. It will likely move to my nice garage for the swap....and then back out until the engine/trans swap happens. I looked it over the other day and I've made some space where the new stuff will sit...its almost as if I will be starting at a blank page.

paint would be nice...but I'd be happy with mechanically sound and dependable. That and I don't have a Maacco or OneDay close. The guy in town does AWESOME work, but the price is also reflective of that. He doesn't know how to do a cheap job. And that's a good thing if you have something worthy of a quality job. I just need a uniform color that looks good as I'm sure to mess it up doing what I do with it.
