Well I like it because its different ..
here in La you never see jeeps with the windshield dropped..

So it not Jeep like here in LA, its just different.
But I dont really wanna drive around town too much like this because bugs hit you in the face ... Just like on a bike with an Open face helmet.

Bumper Ideas...

I'm kinda shooting for a combo between 3 three different ideas.. .................

I kinda want a pre-runner look including skid plate , yet also want a stinger style.

& I also like the Idea of a semi Bronkzilla type Exo-cage..

I dont see this too hard to blend all together...

But as in Blancos case, it's Main focus is on maximizing angles!

Cam i not a fan of the exo-cage...The best parts of a cage is stiffining the chassis and providing a great place to mount stuff(shocks, power steering resivoirs, elec stuff, whatever)saftey is just a bonus.Youre going to lose the best benefits of a cage.Thats just my opinion though. You already have a cab cage, build a bumper then connect them through the firewall and youll have a nice shock mount also.

Ok I recently blew out the Speakers & its been driving me nuts!
Being I have no doors & not top & new Mud Tires theres alot of noise going on so I need the stereo kinda loud to hear it..

I'm not a loud stereo type at all. But I got off work today around 8am so I swung By the stereo shop ( SloarCraft In Burbank Calif.)& bought these..

This is what I had in there....

& this is what I went & bought today....

Major difference Huh?

The stock factory Speaker is 5&1/4 inches, these are 6 & 1/2 inches & they fit The Factory speaker hole Had to drill the mounting holes in a different spot though.

Sounds SOOOOOO much better!
These Speakers were'nt cheap, But they do sound worth the extra expense.

I just hope I dont Fawk them up to fast getting them all dirty?

Ok So after the Speaker install I went to sleep around Noon!
Then woke up @ 4PM.
& started on installing my Cage!
Ok 1st thing is to remove this body panel that goes up & ove with the Factory roll bar.

Both body panel & Factory roll bar removed.

So hear as I'm trying to fit the Cage in I dicovered a problem I feared.

The Cage's front windshield Hoop interfears with the fold down windshield kit!

So now I'm torn between getting a different cage $$$???
Or not droping the windshield anymore..
I've gotta tell you I love dropping that windsheild!

I also ajusted the Parking brake While I was waiting for the fresh coat of Hammerite to dry that I spayed..

I think that Tighting up of the parking brake will be a BIG help while taking the hills of the Miller Jeep trail being able to stop on the hill via hand brake while I use my two feet on the Gas & clutch pedals...

Here I went to OSH to buy some parts so I would'nt have to reinstall the Body part that goes up over & around with the factory roll bar to keep the seat belts funtional.
