I've always liked the idea of a mech locker that works that way.

i sure would like a follow up after you get that thing going. For some reason, I had a hard time with adjustment on cable type lockers. Basically, cable would continue to stretch. Hope you have better luck and hopefully get out with you on the hammers, do you have anything planned down the road. Mr. off topic.

I need to get off my lazy butt and start working on it. Just haven't been motivated. I got all the metal and tubing to do everything. I need to make a new stand for my bender than start with the exo cage. When its done I want to take it out to the hammers and brake it in. No time frame yet.

Worked on the truck Sat. Got the rear cross member in and hitch all welded in. Then started on the rock sliders.

No way will that ever brake off. I did the math on what it would take to sheer the steel and it would more than 18 tons before it would even start to stress. The toy will only be just over 2 tons.

do you really want to go there! first loser will be the one suffering the most when the pics come in on that bitchin winter style run (or for the guys really kicking themselves, summer run!) and other guys salivating over all the awesome pics. just keep it simple, get them out there and work the bugs along way and don't ever forget there is no replacement for displacement. By the way, anyone going hogging anytime soon. signed : MR. OFFTOPIC

Can't believe you've never been hogging Cam. It's so much fun. We use to go every year up to the Sierra's. They've got some great hogging up there. Also, up by Lake Naciamento (?spelling). They have some of the best hogging in the West. If you ever want to go let me know and I'll take you Hogging. Hey, this could be a new hobby for you, where you could actually take your Bronco with you and use it.

Worked on the drivers side slider today.

Cut off one of the front core support body mounts. Going to incorporate them into the bumper as I build it.
