OK Just an Up-date..
The 3G's Been Installed.

Some Mods Needed.

& Tomorrow I move onto rigging up the OBA lines..
This is what I bought today.

My biggestCurrent Challenge is to run the Air Line from the Comppresor around the Battery Instead of on top of it..
so when ever I need to yank out the Battery I dont have to disconnect the OBA lines..

move the battery to the back, both for better weight distribution and to free up a little space under the hood

or get two 90 degree pieces to make it easier to get the lines around the battery.

Actually the fitting in the Platic bag is a 45 degree Angle & that should work.

If there was a drool smiley plz insert here.. I ran those back in the day. You will notice they are hard (feel as if your ridding on petrified rubber), get horrible flat spots (but eventually go away after a few miles or so), they're heavy ass tires, and you probably noticed a lack in power from the bronco (Kevlar ply). Other than that the pros are that you can air them down to about 5-10psi and are great issuance from sharp a$$ rocks. (This only applies if it's a daily driver, otherwise great tire) Congrats though they look good.

They seem fine to me.
I've not noticed that..
But then again I'm missing my rear shocks right now while they're being rebuilt right now.

Well I lifted them & they did'nt seem so heavy to me.
& Jim Dawson said he's lifted heavier ones..
But yeah considering all thats built into these I expected more wieght.

I got my rear Shocks rebuilt (Bilstein 9100's)

Cause one of them seemed to of developed an oil leak & a hose was in need of replacement ETC etc...

They're done & will be shipped out to me soon.
I must say Juan Alverez at Bilstein is a great guy to deal with & took great care of my customer needs.

Anyways in a e-mail Juan told me what he did after discussing this with Me & his fellow workers about what should work best for my particular needs..

With this new valving it will allow your rear to drop faster and give you more rod to slow your decent on compress when you hit a big jump.
Sounds good to me!
I should have the shocks back soon!

I mean that those problems I listed above are only a nuisance for a daily driver, if it wasn't a daily driver then who really cares about those small things.

The Baja comes in DOT and race, I had the race version, whick sucked ass on the street.

Are you talking about the two different tread designs available?
They do have two Different Baja T/A's available..

These like I have.

& these.

From what I understand the 2nd design came into play because the High horsepower of the big boys ( Trophy Trucks Etc) would just tear up the 1st design.

& from what I've seen they're both DOT approved..
I've not found a text anywhere stating other wise?

I'd like to read up the difference's if you can find me a link.
thanks.

I may be wrong here,But i suspect the first design is prone to damage from rocks and such because of the open gaps between lugs.Either way its a badass and reliable tire.I would run them but they are out of my budget.

I refer to the 2nd tire design as the project design. My sidewalls on the baja read "for racing purposes only- not for highway use" written on the side. Anyways great tire. BTW your Bronco has really come a long way.

Perform a search on RDC "bfg project baja". The topic has been covered several times. Hope that will shed some light.

I've never had much interest in the Project tires.
I like the ones I got because they have a more aggressive tread pattern.
Considering I'm not a racer I need a tire thats a Bit more Versitle.

Interesting though that they have a Race only.
Because all the tires Sites I visited never mentioned either or,
They always state HWY legal?

I'll start reading up this ...

Thanks Dude!
