Sounds like if you keep driving after dark you will die, riding that thing!
At least you haven't been getting flat tires.

hahaha....no flat tires. yet. I did get a new MFS from a XR650L to replace it. Most of the parts from my bike are NLA from Honda.

I have been offered a demo ride to check out the "new" DCT transmission (auto) on a 2018 Goldwing. Its not your grandpas Goldwing for sure. lots sportier looking. If it quits raining long enough to try it out...I might start looking seriously at an Africa Twin CRF1000 I think it is. Just don't know what to think about the Auto vs Manual trans on these.
Found a sweet looking ride in Idylwild, CA
Low miles and tricolor with gold rims....Really need to sell a tractor and a house. Maybe a bronco also. I find I'm moving more toward bikes than trucks.

wow...the 18 Gold Wing is not your grandpas Wing. I took the Tour model with a DCT transmission. It was quite a ride and one I really enjoyed. My 18 mile road test was long enough to try all the modes and experience all it had to offer. I almost want to just buy one. Yeah...me on a Wing. All 1832cc's

I really want to try an Africa Twin. I really want to own one.

Started a rebuild/fab of a new rear rack for this bike. Relocation of turn signals for better protection since I broke one in a low speed drop. BarkBusters have really paid for themselves now having hit on both sides. Yes I have photos of it as it is being built...but I need to upload them still.

Also I'm replacing that stupid MFS that failed again....causing loss of headlamp and turnsignals. atleast it wasn't dark this time. Its an exercise in making it fit as the OEM was NLA. So improvise with a much newer bike that uses a similar switch set up.

I really like this bike. But I am really wanting an Africa Twin CRF1000L. I'm sure its going to happen...just a matter of time. Gold Wing can wait awhile.

Sounds almost as if the electrical system is designed by Lucas?
